A Roundtable Discussion Was Held on the Topic "The Role and Responsibility of Women in New Uzbekistan"

The cultural level and spiritual maturity of any society are determined by its attitude towards women. Honoring and respecting women has been a characteristic trait of our people since ancient times.
 

These thoughts were reflected once again during the roundtable discussion organized at "Uzbektelecom" JSC on the topic "The Role and Responsibility of Women in New Uzbekistan," dedicated to the 35th anniversary of our country's Independence.
 

The event was organized on the initiative of the Primary Women's Organization and the Trade Union Committee of "Uzbektelecom" JSC. It was attended by women working in the Company's Executive Apparatus, as well as the "Central" and "Specialized Technical" branches.
 

At the beginning of the roundtable, Manzura Khaydarova, Chairwoman of the Primary Women's Organization, took the floor and spoke about the broad opportunities being created for women in our country today. She also provided information on the conditions provided for them through the example of the Company.
 

Afterwards, the guests of the event—including Senator of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Malika Kadirxanova, Deputy Chairwoman of the Family and Women's Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mukarram Nurmatova, and Senior Researcher at the Research Center of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Legal Studies at Tashkent State University of Law, Doctor of Philosophy in Law (PhD) Kamola Aliyeva—emphasized that the role and position of women are growing in the country's political life, state and public administration, all sectors of the economy, and social spheres such as culture, science, public education, healthcare, and sports.
 

At the conclusion of the meaningful and sincere discussion, it was emphasized that a mother's lullaby is a unique anthem of the nation, that issues related to women are at the center of attention of our state and society, and that the women of today's New Uzbekistan must be worthy of this attention and responsibility.
