Increasing mobile Internet speed in Tashkent


 

On the night of April 6, 2020 to April 7, 2020, the technical service of the UzMobile branch of Uzbektelecom JSC successfully completed work on the project to modernize and expand the mobile network, as well as to expand the LTE coverage in the city of Tashkent. Thus, the speed of LTE Internet access has been increased significantly.

Mobile Internet is an indispensable assistant in any situation. Speed of Internet access plays an important role in self-isolation, when you need to solve work issues, get important data quickly and efficiently. Thanks to the speed and reliability of the mobile Internet, we always stay connected and have access to the information we need.

That is why the company's technical team continues its planned work on implementing the network expansion and modernization project even during the quarantine period, while observing all necessary security measures.

The main goal of this project is to convert all existing 2G/3G base stations to the LTE (4G) standard, which will increase the speed and availability of mobile broadband services for Uzmobile subscribers, which is especially important for the population during the quarantine period.

So, on the night of April 6, 2020 to April 7, 2020, work was completed to expand the LTE band, which allowed increasing the speed of the LTE mobile Internet standard.

Also, since the beginning of the year, planned work has been completed to upgrade all existing base stations to LTE (4G) technology in Bekabad, Buka, Pskov, Akhangaran, Urtachirchik, Kuyichirchik, Akkurgan, Chinaz, Yangiyul districts.

It should be noted that as part of the project to expand and modernize the network, work is planned in all regions of the Republic.
