Modernization of mobile communication networks
We would like to inform you that today Uzbektelecom JSC is working on a large-scale project to expand and modernize its network. Its main goal is to further improve the quality of services provided, namely, to increase the speed of mobile Internet.
Work is carried out on the company's reference switching network in several stages:
- Installation of equipment
- Hardware testing
- Adjusting
- The start-up of equipment
It is worth noting that this is a very important and time-consuming process, which includes replacing existing technical capacities with new-generation equipment. The main work on the project is carried out during the night to minimize the risks of deterioration in the quality of communication. The remaining stages also affect daytime, which may affect the quality of communication. These impairments are temporary and short-term. We apologize for this short-term inconvenience!
In the near future, the project will be completed, and with the beginning of spring, you will be able to enjoy high-quality, affordable and fast mobile Internet to the fullest without any restrictions.
In parallel, work is underway to modernize the company's base stations, which will result in the conversion of 3G sector antennas to 4G.
Also, we want to please you that since February 15, 2020, the speed of mobile Internet has been increased by 2 times!
