Position responsibilities:
- The branch implements the program and current repair plans in the assigned territory.
- Ensures the timely submission to the 1st category engineer of the list of spare parts, materials and equipment necessary for the implementation of operational activities in its territory.
- Carries out maintenance and network development work on overhead communication lines, including in areas close to power transmission lines and with dangerous intersections, in a high-quality manner and within the established deadlines.
- Determines the location of damaged areas and their nature (type) on communication lines and eliminates malfunctions within the established deadlines.
- Eliminates existing dangerous intersections on overhead communication lines and power transmission lines in the established order and takes measures to prevent the occurrence of new dangerous intersections during operation.
- Every day, fills out the relevant documents (bills, acts, etc.) in the established order and submits them to the 1st category engineer.
- Informs the 1st category engineer about the work that needs to be done if it is not possible to eliminate the malfunction within the scope of the assigned tasks (additional cable products, the need to allocate labor or other reasons).
- Before starting work, checks the completeness and serviceability of equipment, devices and devices, and examines their compliance with technical safety requirements.
- In cases where it is determined that construction or excavation work is being carried out in the service area, informs the 1st category engineer via communication means.
- Identifies and resolves problems related to the use of services.
- Installs distribution cabinets, boxes and other terminal cable devices.
- Performs work on equipping line cable structures with grounding.
- Checks the gasification of communication wells and shafts using a gas analyzer.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Secondary vocational education.
- The company's quality policy and goals;
- Principles of the structure of telephone and optical networks;
- The structures of the line structures used (cable boxes, poles, entrance poles, distribution boxes) and the rules for laying and connecting subscriber lines from them;
- Basics of electrical engineering;
- Schemes for connecting various types of telephone sets and other terminal devices, including broadband service devices, to the subscriber line;
- Usage, installation and adjustment of broadband connection terminal equipment;
- Controls periods for eliminating line and cable faults, broadband service faults;
- Rules for protecting communication lines and structures;
- Internet connection technologies (GPON, FTTB, xDSL);
- Wi-Fi signals and frequencies;
- Signal transmission and attenuation coefficients in optical cables;
- Usage of optical welding equipment, power meter, reflectometer;
- Rules and standards of labor protection, safety equipment, industrial sanitation and fire safety and compliance with them.
- Compliance with internal labor discipline;
- Communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Working conditions:
- Formal employment based on an employment contract.
- Work week: 5 days (Monday-Friday), days off – Saturday and Sunday.
- Working hours: Monday–Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 (with a lunch break).
