Position responsibilities
- Hangs, pulls, tidies and technical requirements subscriber wires and dismantles and mounts overhead communication lines, as well as replaces and adjusts cross cables on distribution shelves;
- Continuously monitors the condition of newly built, reconstructed, and existing communication line structures, and reports identified defects and issues to the Line structures engineer;
- Regularly (at least once per hour) logs into the “GeoWFM” mobile application, sends geoposition data about their location to the cross-connect staff, receives orders, and enters relevant information on completed works into the mobile application;
- If the application cannot be used, promptly communicates with cross-connect staff via available means of communication or interactively, informs them of the results of detected faults, receives assignments for fault elimination in the service area, and enters them into the work order;
- Fully and correctly fills out relevant documents (work orders, reports, etc.) on a daily basis in accordance with established procedures and submits them to the line structures engineer.
Required skills and qualifications
- Specialist with secondary professional education;
- Knowledge of regulatory documents, instructions, and guidance materials on record keeping;
- Principles of regional telephone network structure;
- Basics of electrical engineering;
- Subscriber line connection schemes for various types of telephones and other end devices, including broadband devices
- Rules for operation and installation of the last equipment of the broadband route;
- Technical documentation maintenance procedure;
- Rules for performance of works in areas adjacent to power transmission lines.
