Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of “Uzbektelecom” JSC on Information Policy – Press Secretary
The Press Secretary serves as an advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board on information policy and as the Head of the Press Service of “Uzbektelecom” Joint Stock Company.
In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP–4366 dated June 27, 2019, “On Further Measures to Ensure the Independence of Mass Media and the Development of Press Services of State Bodies and Organizations,” he coordinates activities aimed at ensuring transparency and openness in the Company’s operations, as well as informing the public about developments in the telecommunications sector. His responsibilities include establishing cooperation with mass media outlets, coordinating the publication of materials on the Company’s official website, and managing its presence on social media platforms.
The appointment was made based on the recommendation of the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
He was born on October 30, 1982, in the Chartak district of Namangan region. Nationality: Uzbek.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Namangan State University (2011) and earned his master’s degree from the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan (2013).
T. Mamadjanov began his professional career in the field of mass media in 2009. Over the years, he has held various positions at the editorial offices of the newspapers “Namangan Haqiqati” and “Namanganskaya Pravda,” “Ishonch” and “Ishonch-Doverie,” “Xalq So‘zi” and “Narodnoe Slovo.” Prior to his appointment to the current position in 2021, he worked as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the “Ishonch” and “Ishonch-Doverie” newspapers.
