VoWiFi, or Voice over Wi Fi, is a technology for calling over the Internet. It uses a Wi-Fi router as a base station for calls and improves sound quality.
Terms for working in VoWifi services: - The device must support VoWifi technology and have authorized access by the device software developer; - The subscriber must be located within the Wifi coverage area; - The subscriber's number must be in active status. - When you leave the Wi-Fi zone, you will automatically make and receive calls on the available 2G, 3G or LTE mobile network.
Calls via VoWiFi consume minutes from packages according to the tariff or are paid according to the terms of the tariff as calls from the Home region, including to landline numbers. Home region is the subject of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on whose territory you entered into an agreement for the provision of communication services.
How to activate: the service is available by default; for each phone individually you need to enable the VoWiFi function in the phone settings
How to check if the technology works: If, when connecting to Wi Fi, you see in the status bar: on iOS the inscription “UzMobile - Wi Fi”, and on Android a Wi Fi icon with a handset, then you are using VoWiFi.

The service is available on all tariff plans for all subscribers of individuals and legal entities (with the exception of Subscribers connected to the M2M Basic TP).

For the “Access to VoWiFi” service to work, the “Access to 4G network” and “Access to VoLTE” services must be connected.
To use the “Access to VoWiFi” service, the subscriber must be within the coverage area of the Wi-Fi network and have access to the Internet.
To use the “Access to VoWiFi” service, the subscriber must be in the GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G coverage area of the Uztelecom network.
The Access to VoWiFi service is not available in roaming.
The “Access to VoWiFi” service is not available for numbers transferred from other mobile operators.
The “Access to VoWiFi” service operates in the network of all Internet providers within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The “Access to VoWiFi” and “Conference Call” services are mutually exclusive. Connecting the VoWiFi service causes the “Conference Call” service to be deleted.
When making voice calls with the “Access to VoWiFi” service, minutes are spent within the tariff plan and package of minutes, or according to the cost established above the limit.
When sending an SMS message with the “Access to VoWiFi” service, SMS are consumed within the framework of the tariff plan and SMS package, or according to the cost established above the limit.
The volume of MB within the tariff plan, MB package and Internet traffic is not consumed when making voice calls with the “Access to VoWiFi” service
Voice calls and SMS with the “Access to VoWiFi” service are displayed in the bill details in the form of minutes and SMS used.
For voice calls “Access to VoWiFi”, technical traffic (generated when using the service) is not charged and is not displayed in the bill details for the subscriber.
If a subscriber leaves the WiFi coverage area during a conversation, he automatically switches to the 4G/VoLTE network without interrupting the call.
