Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring the uninterrupted operation of power supply and climate control equipment;
- Participating in the routine servicing of various types of electrical equipment, electric motors, generators, rectifiers, switching devices, inverters, charge-discharge and high-voltage panels, and ventilation and air conditioning systems;
- Carrying out repair and preventive maintenance work on power supply and climate control equipment;
- Handling the conclusion of contracts with electricity network enterprises and sub-subscribers;
- Recording the electricity consumption of automatic telephone exchange (ATS), portable concentrator, MSAN and switch equipment, as well as of sub-subscribers;
- Identifying equipment operating deficiencies based on the individual indicators and readings of instruments, and promptly rectifying faults when detected in electrical equipment;
- Performing repair and maintenance of electric lighting, including cleaning lighting fixtures, replacing all types of lamps, replacing and repairing simple lighting fittings, all types of switches, power sockets, wall lamp holders and industrial floodlights, and replacing and repairing luminaires;
- Keeping protective equipment, measuring instruments and tools in good working order at all times;
- Preparing acceptance documentation for the power supply of telecommunications facilities;
- Carrying out measures to prevent accidents and improve the operation of diesel generators.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Secondary vocational education in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of regulatory documents, instructions and guidance materials on record-keeping.
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of procedures for maintaining technical documentation.
- Knowledge of the rules for performing works in areas adjacent to power transmission lines.
