Job Responsibilities

- Plan targeted measures to increase the stability of telecommunication facilities in emergency situations and monitor their implementation by relevant services and departments;

- Develop decisions and orders of the branch management regarding actions to prevent and eliminate natural and man-made emergencies, as well as organize evacuation of employees and material assets to safe areas during large-scale emergencies;

- Exchange information on civil protection of branch facilities with higher organizations, Tashkent city administration, district administrations, and emergency departments;

- Prepare technical specifications for the creation of an automated alert and information delivery system, and oversee its implementation;

- Draft documents for scheduled and unscheduled command-and-staff exercises conducted by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, its departments, and divisions, as well as for special tactical exercises and inspections organized by the branch; ensure participation of managers and employees in these exercises;

- Monitor the provision of internet and telephone communication for relevant services and departments during command-and-staff exercises at training points;

- Coordinate staff work during emergencies and major accidents in communication networks, involving heads of branch services and departments, as well as relevant management;

- Provide facilities and documents for comprehensive inspections of the branch’s readiness for emergencies and the condition of civil defense engineering-protection structures, conducted by the Emergency Situations Department and the Section of Mobilization Work and Civil Defense of JSC “Uzbektelecom.”

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Higher education (at least 5 years of work experience in the Ministry of Emergency Situations system);

- Knowledge of regulatory documents, instructions, and materials on office management;

- Ability to use modern information and communication technologies;

- Knowledge and skills in the field of civil protection;

- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Corel DRAW;

- Fluent communication in Uzbek and Russian.
