Network Optimization and Analysis Service Mobile Network Optimization Sector

 

Job responsibilities:

– Monitoring and in-depth analysis of key mobile network quality indicators (KPI/KQI) of GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR networks at all levels: overall network, region, cluster, and base station level; identification of trends, degradations, and anomalies, and preparation of well-founded recommendations for improvement.

– Analysis of radio network performance statistics, evaluation of Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, Integrity, Throughput, Latency, and QoE indicators for voice services (CS, VoLTE), packet data services, and 5G services.

– Analysis of radio coverage and radio signal quality parameters (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, Ec/Io, etc.), identification of areas with insufficient coverage, low signal level zones, pilot pollution areas, and regions with high interference levels.

– Comprehensive analysis of the causes of network quality degradation: cell overload, interference, non-optimized neighbor relations (Neighbor List), parameter configuration errors, hardware issues, inefficient use of radio resources, and impact of the transport network and core network.

– Analysis of emergency situations, service degradation, and mass subscriber complaints; determination of the impact of faults on service quality; development of prompt measures for recovery and prevention of repeated incidents.

– Preparation of detailed technical reports, analytical reports, presentations, and recommendations for improving radio network quality and performance based on monitoring results, drive tests, and statistical data.

– Working with radio network management and monitoring systems (iMaster RAN, UME, U2000, PRS, etc.), including collection, processing, visualization, and analysis of large volumes of statistical data.

– Participation in planning, implementation, and control of activities related to expansion, modernization, and optimization of GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR radio networks, including the deployment of new technologies (5G NSA, Massive MIMO, Carrier Aggregation, etc.).

– Coordination and supervision of optimization activities performed by contractor organizations and lower-level engineers.

– Development and continuous improvement of optimization methodologies, internal standards, and best practices aimed at improving radio network quality.

– Compliance with occupational health and safety, industrial safety, and information security requirements while performing job duties.

– Maintenance of technical, operational, and reporting documentation.

 

Required skills and qualifications:

– A specialist with higher technical education is appointed; no work experience requirements are specified.

– Rules for organizing technical maintenance and troubleshooting of technical equipment within the assigned specialization;

– Fundamentals of mobile communication networks, architecture, and structure of GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies;

– Basic knowledge of handover (Handover) procedures;

– Fundamentals of working with radio network management and monitoring systems (iMaster RAN, UME, U2000, PRS, etc.), including collection, processing, visualization, and analysis of large volumes of statistical data;

– Excellent professional-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite: confident use of Excel (including pivot tables and complex formulas), preparation of structured technical reports in Word, creation of high-quality presentations for management and technical committees in PowerPoint, as well as effective management of business correspondence and calendar in Outlook;

– Rules and instructions for the technical operation of maintained equipment;

– Technological processes of technical maintenance of communication equipment, devices, and systems, as well as communication network organization and design schemes;

– Methods for configuring assigned equipment and measuring its parameters;

– Basic rules, instructions, and regulatory documents for equipment and device inventory management, as well as preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.

– Knowledge of Russian and English is desirable.

 

Working conditions:

– Official employment under an employment contract.

- Working week: 5 days (Monday-Friday), day off – Saturday, Sunday.

- Working hours: Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 (with a lunch break).
