Job responsibilities:
– Verify the compliance of radio network parameters with the (RF-Plan), including analysis of antenna azimuth, mechanical and electrical tilt, transmit power, and equipment configuration.
– Identify the root causes of radio network KPI degradation and prepare technical recommendations for KPI improvement.
– Analyze UE Trace, MDT, and network equipment logs to identify hidden radio network issues and performance bottlenecks.
– Perform correlation analysis of Drive Test results with OSS data, Performance Counters, and KPI statistics to identify network performance issues and validate optimization effectiveness.
– Performing comprehensive measurements to evaluate radio coverage, signal quality, and service performance (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, Ec/Io, throughput, latency, MOS, etc.).
– Post-processing, analysis, and interpretation of large volumes of drive test data using specialized software (Nemo Analyzer, etc.).
– Coverage analysis, identification of weak signal areas, pilot pollution, interference, coverage gaps (“white spots”), and mobility issues (handover, cell reselection).
– Conducting benchmark testing (comparative analysis) of own network quality against competitors’ networks.
– Validation of radio network changes after optimization, modernization, installation of new equipment, or launch of new technologies (5G NSA, Massive MIMO, etc.).
– Analysis of the impact of radio network parameters on the quality of voice services (CS, VoLTE) and data transmission services; identification of issues related to accessibility, connection retainability, and service integrity.
– Preparation of detailed technical reports, coverage maps, analytical materials, and recommendations for radio network optimization based on field measurement results.
– Development and updating of drive test and walk test methodologies, measurement standards, and reporting templates.
– Quality control of drive test activities performed by lower-level engineers and contractor organizations.
– Participation in the acceptance and commissioning of new communication sites, clusters, and network areas.
– Cooperation with radio network optimization, operation, and planning departments to promptly resolve quality-related issues.
– Analysis of subscriber complaints and performing targeted measurements in “hot spot” areas.
– Improving quality indicators (KPI) in GSM/UMTS/LTE mobile networks, performing analysis at network, cluster, and user levels, identifying degradations and anomalies.
– Collection, processing, and analysis of operational and statistical information related to mobile network performance.
– Maintenance of technical, operational, and reporting documentation.
Required skills and qualifications:
– A specialist with higher technical education is appointed; no work experience requirements are specified.
– Rules for organizing technical maintenance and troubleshooting of technical equipment within the assigned specialization;
– Fundamentals of mobile communication networks, architecture, and structure of GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies;
– Basic knowledge of handover procedures (Handover);
– Knowledge of coverage parameters, signal quality indicators, and Signal-to-Noise Ratio values;
– Knowledge of working with radio network management and monitoring systems (iMaster RAN, UME, U2000, PRS, etc.) is preferred, including collection, processing, visualization, and analysis of large volumes of statistical data;
– Confident professional-level proficiency in Microsoft Office: advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables and complex formulas), preparation of structured technical reports in Word, creation of high-quality presentations for management and technical committees in PowerPoint, as well as effective management of business correspondence and calendar in Outlook;
– Rules and instructions for the technical operation of maintained equipment;
– Technological processes of technical maintenance of communication equipment, devices, and systems, as well as schemes for organization and construction of communication networks;
– Methods for configuring assigned equipment and measuring its parameters;
– Basic rules, instructions, and regulatory documents for equipment and device inventory management, as well as preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.
– Knowledge of Russian and English is desirable.
Working conditions:
– Official employment under an employment contract.
- Working week: 5 days (Monday-Friday), day off – Saturday, Sunday.
- Working hours: Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 (with a lunch break).
