Uzbektelecom Joint Stock Company (brand name UZTELECOM) is the telecommunications operator of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The company provides fixed and mobile communications, internet, television, data centers, video surveillance, cybersecurity, and other digital services throughout the country. It has the largest backbone communications network in the country, with a total length of approximately 300,000 km. Technological advances
According to industry publications, in September 2024, UZTELECOM announced the launch of a fifth-generation (5G, non-standalone ) network in all regional centers of Uzbekistan. Earlier, in 2022, the operator began providing 5G services in Tashkent. To implement the project, the company deployed more than 3,500 fifth-generation base stations across the country. According to industry publications, Uzbekistan is the first country in the CIS to deploy 5G technology in all regional centers.
In May 2025, according to industry sources, UZTELECOM began providing fixed broadband services with speeds of up to 10 Gbps. The company is noted to be one of the first in the world to implement a commercial solution of this level, providing users with high bandwidth and a stable connection.
In September 2025, according to international agencies, Uzbektelecom received one of the highest ESG ratings in Central Asia. The agency's report recognized the company's achievements in environmental, social responsibility, and corporate governance, as well as its contribution to the development of a sustainable business model.
As reported by industry media, UZTELECOM demonstrated U6G (5G Advanced) technology at the international ICTWEEK 2025 exhibition. According to sources, data transfer rates exceeding 10 Gbps were achieved during the tests. Industry experts noted that this is one of the first examples of 5G Advanced technology being tested in the CIS region.
As of 2025 , the company's optical networks covered more than 98% of populated areas in Uzbekistan , and the company is fully transitioning to GPON/ FTTx technologies and plans to use them in new connections starting in August 2025.

Telecom Soft is a subsidiary of Uzbektelecom Joint Stock Company ( UZTELECOM) , specializing in the development and support of internal information technology solutions, digital platforms, and services. The company ensures the operation of key elements of the operator's IT infrastructure and plays a key role in the digitalization of Uzbekistan's telecommunications industry.
Activities and tasks
Telecom Soft was established to develop, integrate, and support internal software products, automated systems, and analytical platforms. The division supports data centers, IPTV platforms, cloud solutions, billing systems, and client interfaces.

UZTELECOM Call Center
The UZTELECOM Call Center is a division of Uzbektelecom , a joint-stock company. It provides 24/7 customer service and interaction between subscribers and operators, as well as citizens and organizations with government services and digital platforms. The center is part of the country's telecommunications infrastructure and serves as a reference, information, and service hub.
Story
The service's origins date back to the mid-20th century, when the "09" telephone information service began operating in Tashkent. Initially, operators processed requests manually, using paper cards. In the 2000s, a gradual automation of information services began, and in 2009, a Unified Call Center, compliant with international standards, was established using Protei equipment.
Scale and functions
Today, the UZTELECOM Call Center is a network of over 1,500 operators, handling up to 200,000 calls per day (approximately 4 million calls per month). In addition to serving the company's subscribers, the center receives inquiries through the Virtual Reception Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan , the Unified Portal of Interactive Government Services (EPIGU) , and ministries and departments.
Thus, the UZTELECOM Call Center not only provides customer support but also serves as an element of the national feedback infrastructure between citizens and government agencies.
Outsourcing services
One of the company's areas of activity is providing outsourced contact center services to government agencies and private companies. This model allows organizations to use a ready-made infrastructure without the need to establish their own dispatch services.

Participation in the 112 project
In 2024–2025, the UZTELECOM Call Center became one of the technology and operator centers for the Unified Emergency Response Service 112 , launched nationwide.
The system integrates the lines of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, the Social Protection Agency, and the Khududgaztaminot company . The telecommunications infrastructure and operator support provided by UZTELECOM ensured the service's operation in all regions of the country.
The company's operators have undergone special training and answer emergency calls, ensuring the routing of calls between the relevant departments.
The creation of the 112 service is part of a digital transformation program for the management system and is similar to models implemented in the United States (911) and the European Union (112). The implementation of a centralized emergency call system allows for faster response to emergencies and greater efficiency in interagency cooperation.
