General information on Uzbektelecom JSC

Uzbektelecom Joint Stock Company is the largest telecommunication operator covering the whole region of the Republic of Uzbekistan with its network. Using its telecommunications network built on the basis of modern technologies, the Company provides all types of telecommunications services. 

Uzbektelecom JSC regularly cooperates with international telecommunications organizations, participates in international telecommunications projects and maintains bilateral cooperation with foreign operators and manufacturers of telecommunications equipment.

Uzbektelecom JSC cooperates actively with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) and the “Intelsat” satellite communications organisation.   

The company's local telecommunications network is based on modern technology and is constantly being upgraded.

By 2022, the Company has established roaming partnerships with 174 international operators in 107 countries. At the same time, roaming services for UZTELECOM mobile subscribers are provided in 102 countries.  

The company's transport network is built on the basis of fibre-optic and radio-relay lines using modern network technologies. In order to ensure high quality and expand the range of services, 100% redundancy, stable and high-speed data transmission systems using DWDM and IP-MPLS technologies are used when providing new types of services. The Company provides global Internet access services to all operators and providers in the country through the International Packet Switching Centre (IPSC).

Uzbektelecom provides international telephony through two international switching hubs in cooperation with some 30 international operators in the area of traditional wireline telephony.
Since 2011, the UZTELECOM™ brand has been the Company's primary brand.

As a national operator under the main UZTELECOM™ brand, the Company provides all types of telecommunications services to operators in the domestic and international markets, as well as to the retail sector in the domestic market.

The company has 22 branches, 14 of which are regional and 8 specialized branches. By the end of 2021, the Company employs more than 17,000 employees.

Uzbektelecom JSC has interests in eight joint ventures providing telecommunications services in the country.

Uzbektelecom is the undisputed leader in the market for telecommunications services to consumers, including government agencies, departments and organisations, as well as legal entities and individuals.

The company provides services to the population via its mobile network using the latest technology. All base stations of the company's mobile network are equipped with 3G/4G technology, and work is currently underway to introduce 5G technology at an accelerated pace.

The high quality and reliability of the company's services is confirmed by certificates in accordance with the quality management system.

Uzbektelecom JSC received a certificate of compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2009 (ISO 9001:2008) on 11 November 2013, following a certification audit.

In 2020 Uzbektelecom JSC successfully passed certification in the international system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, and confirmed its compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (ISO 9001:2015) in the national system.

The company's quality management system is used in the design, construction and operation of telecommunication networks, telecommunication services and call center services.
