Training Course on "Changes in Tax and Accounting Legislation" Successfully Completed

The "TMS Hub" branch of "Uzbektelecom" JSC has completed a remote training course titled "Changes in Tax and Accounting Legislation." The course was aimed at enhancing specialists' knowledge of recent updates in tax and accounting legislation and developing their professional competencies to apply new requirements in practice.
 

The course placed particular emphasis on a deeper understanding of national legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements, as well as developing theoretical knowledge and practical skills in performing tax calculations. Specifically, participants reinforced their knowledge in areas such as comparative analysis of changes in accounting legislation and IFRS; accounting for property, plant, and equipment, inventories, leases, and income tax under IFRS; procedures for calculating and paying value-added tax (VAT), corporate income tax, personal income tax, and social tax, alongside the relevant legislative amendments regarding these taxes.
 

Applying the knowledge and skills gained during the training course will help ensure the reliability of financial data and the accurate fulfillment of tax obligations.
