Chief legal counsel.

Job responsibilities:

– Participation in the development of internal legal documents for the branch.

– Reviewing the provisions of regulations, instructions, orders, decrees, and other legal documents submitted to the branch director.

– Monitoring the approval procedure for legal documents established by the branch.

– Making decisions on the cancellation of legal documents in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

– Ensuring the receipt and processing of legal documents in the branch and its subordinate divisions.

– Submitting proposals for the organization of software to regulate the branch's legal awareness and legal culture, and participating in its implementation.

– Informing branch management about adopted regulatory documents.

– Monitoring branch appeals based on audit results. Providing practical assistance and providing necessary information in identifying legal documents related to the branch's activities.

– Analyzes the advantages of branch programs, prepares legal amendments for processing, makes proposals for revising laws and regulations, and analyzes advantages across branch divisions.

– Organizes the receipt and review of claims from counterparties, prepares responses to claims, and prepares applications for assistance.

– Reviews claims received by the branch, prepares applications, and participates in legal proceedings.

– Participates in drafting documents (instructions, complaints regarding material assets, court reports) to ensure the safety of the branch's material assets.

– Monitors the physical fitness of branch rescuers for dismissal, transfer to other jobs, and disciplinary action.

– Participates in the review of applications and complaints received by the branch regarding violations of the law and abuse of office.

– In collaboration with the branch and its divisions, reviews legal documents or agreements submitted for review and conducts a legal review to ensure they are free of evidence of corruption.

– Analyzing incidents of robbery at the branch and taking measures to prevent such incidents, preparing documents for submission to law enforcement agencies.

– Conducting outreach to branch departments on preventing the risk of corruption in their work and preventing similar incidents.

– Conducting outreach to branch departments on the Company's anti-corruption policies and approaches, as well as anti-corruption control procedures integrated into the Company's business processes.

– Performing tasks in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan as assigned by the Company's management and the branch manager.

– Participating in and conducting work to prevent violations of the law in the branch's activities and strengthening compliance with the law.

– Providing information and reports upon request from the Company's legal department.

 

Required skills and qualifications:

– A specialist with a higher legal education and at least two years of experience as a legal adviser is appointed to the position of chief legal counsel.

– the civil, administrative-procedural, and criminal-procedural codes of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

– the procedure and legal criteria for filing claims;

– the procedure for drafting and formalizing business contracts, collective agreements, and tariff agreements;

– the current system, procedure for calculating and storing legal documents using modern information technology;

– Fundamentals of economics, rules and regulations for labor protection, production, and management;

– Workplace culture;

– Fundamentals of labor legislation;

– Corporate governance rules;

– The structure of state administrative bodies, judicial and legal authorities, and local governments.

– Knowledge of Russian is desirable.

 

Working conditions:

– Official employment under an employment contract.

– Working week: 5 days (Monday-Friday), day off – Saturday, Sunday.

– Working hours: Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 (with a lunch break).
