Job responsibilities:
– Performing monitoring and analysis of key mobile network quality indicators (KPI) at various levels: overall network, region, cluster, base station, sector, and cell level; identifying the causes of performance degradation and preparing recommendations for improvement.
– Analyzing radio network performance statistics, identifying issues related to accessibility, connection establishment and retention, as well as the quality of voice and packet services (Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility, Integrity).
– Analyzing GSM/UMTS/LTE radio network parameters, including coverage parameter evaluation, identification of areas with insufficient coverage and zones affected by radio interference.
– Conducting analysis of the causes of network quality degradation: cell overload, high interference levels, neighbor relation issues (Neighbor Relations), configuration errors, hardware faults, and incorrect radio network parameter settings.
– Conducting analysis of mobile network emergency situations and service degradation, determining the impact of occurring faults on the quality of services provided to subscribers.
– Monitoring the correctness of parameter configuration of base stations and radio network controllers (BSC/RNC/eNodeB), analyzing configurations and preparing optimization proposals.
– Preparing technical reports, analytical materials, and recommendations for improving mobile network quality based on monitoring results and KPI analysis.
– Working with management and monitoring systems during mobile network analysis (iMaster, UME, NetEco, U2000, etc.), collecting, processing, and analyzing network statistical data.
– Participating in activities related to the expansion, modernization, and optimization of GSM/UMTS/LTE radio networks.
– Knowledge of the architecture, structure, operating principles, and main functions of GBTS, NodeB, eNodeB base stations and BSC/RNC radio network controllers.
– Monitoring the availability, condition, and proper storage of operational documentation, ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of primary records and reporting data.
– Learning and mastering newly commissioned equipment.
– Performing technical inspections and parameter measurements of assigned equipment.
– Troubleshooting faults and failures in assigned equipment and analyzing the causes of their occurrence.
– Participating in activities aimed at improving work organization, increasing labor productivity, reducing costs, and developing services to increase profitability.
– Improving professional qualifications, participating in training, safety briefings, instructions on the use of personal and collective protective equipment, first aid procedures in case of accidents, and practical emergency response training; undergoing civil protection training and participating in relevant activities.
– Maintaining technical, operational, and reporting documentation.
Required skills and qualifications:
– A specialist with higher technical education is appointed; no work experience requirements are specified.
– Rules for organizing technical maintenance and troubleshooting of technical equipment within the assigned area of specialization;
– Fundamentals of mobile communication networks, architecture, and structure of GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies;
– Fundamentals of working with radio network management and monitoring systems (iMaster RAN, UME, U2000, PRS, etc.), including collection, processing, visualization, and analysis of large volumes of statistical data;
– Excellent professional-level proficiency in the Microsoft Office package: confident use of Excel (including pivot tables and complex formulas), Word (preparation of structured technical reports), PowerPoint (creation of high-quality presentations for management and technical committees), and Outlook (effective management of business correspondence);
– Rules and instructions for the technical operation of maintained equipment;
– Technological processes of technical maintenance of communication equipment, devices, and systems, as well as schemes for organization and construction of communication networks;
– Methods for configuring assigned equipment and measuring its parameters;
– Basic rules, instructions, and regulatory documents for equipment and device inventory management, as well as preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.
– Knowledge of Russian and English is desirable.
Working conditions:
– Official employment under an employment contract.
- Working week: 5 days (Monday-Friday), day off – Saturday, Sunday.
- Working hours: Monday-Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 (with a lunch break).
