UZTELECOM Moves to the Next Level of High-Speed Technologies: Fixed Internet Becomes Even Faster

JSC “Uzbektelecom” continues its course toward modernization and the implementation of advanced solutions. As part of its digital transformation program and the comprehensive renewal of telecommunications infrastructure, the company is introducing new technologies for delivering fixed internet services and updating the terms of several tariff plans.

Starting August 21, 2025, changes to certain fixed internet service tariffs will take effect. The main focus is on modern high-speed GPON and FTTx solutions with speeds starting from 100 Mbps and higher. In addition, the service package will now include an expanded selection of television channels — ranging from popular entertainment and educational content to thematic and specialized channels. The number of available channels has been increased from 80+ to 120+, enabling every member of the family to find engaging content for leisure, self-development, and gaining new knowledge. All channels will be available anytime, anywhere via the convenient TelecomTV application, which can be installed on a smartphone or tablet.

This step aims to develop the digital environment and create a sustainable technological foundation for the country’s future. UZTELECOM is actively investing in network modernization and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to ensure its subscribers benefit from higher quality, greater stability, and faster internet connections.

Across the globe, outdated technologies with low bandwidth are gradually being phased out in favor of modern optical and hybrid networks. Following these global trends, UZTELECOM is introducing next-generation solutions to provide customers with fast and reliable internet access.

The growth of digital activity in home networks is evident: today, smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, Wi-Fi-enabled household appliances, as well as smart home and video surveillance systems, are often connected simultaneously. Work, study, streaming, online cinemas, and video conferencing all require a stable, high-speed connection. Technologies developed 10–15 years ago can no longer provide such conditions due to limited bandwidth and high susceptibility to interference.

UZTELECOM counts on the understanding and support of its subscribers, as all measures taken are aimed at improving the quality of services provided and meeting the modern requirements of the digital era.
